Every bride wants a unique wedding invitation, and I can’t blame them. It’s your big day and you deserve a unique wedding invitation! While you may have sent save the dates, your formal wedding invitation is grand piece your guests have been waiting for — complete with all the details they’ll need to know.
The only way to get a truly unique wedding invitation is to work with a designer one-on-one, creating something spectacular just for your event. That’s the service Serendipity Beyond Design provides — a unique experience to compliment your unique wedding invitation. So, what makes a unique wedding invitation here at Serendipity Beyond Design?
We love working with new materials and exploring different possibilities for unique wedding invitations. For example, our wood engraved wedding invitation is absolutely gorgeous. Based on a vintage poster, this design is engraved into a piece of wood for a dimensional, two-toned look. Your wood engraved invite can be 4 x 6″ or 5 x 7″. A collection of vintage fonts and filigree details make the invitation design unique and are based from a variety of vintage posters.
Another different type of media we’ve worked with is embroidery. This unique wedding invitation was first printed on our heavy cardstock, then ran through an embroidery machine that stitched the yellow Lilly down the left side. The ceremony information, printed in a lavish script font, is justified along the right side to elegantly wrap around the embroidered lily and then layered onto a royal blue background. This unique wedding invitation can certainly be modified — just think of how elegant it would look in black and white!
If these two options don’t have you in awe, then surely our acrylic invitation will make you say, “WOW!” This unique invitation was actually designed for a Bar Mitzvah. However, we could certainly customize it, creating a unique wedding invitation as well! The formal invitation is a clear piece of acrylic with all the details etched into the acrylic. It is then matted on a black background so your guests can easily read the invite. Due to the nature of the etching, the words cannot be colored. Across the bottom is a custom graphic, making this unique wedding invitation simply stunning.
White ink printing is another way we create unique wedding invitations. We start with a completely custom design, select top-notch duplex paper (one side a dark color, such as navy, black, chocolate brown, etc. and the other side a matte or shimmer color) and then print with white ink. One of our newest white ink designs is the Nautical Lighthouse Wedding Invitation. All of your wedding details are captured inside the lighthouse and at the top a beacon of light shines out in the night sky. Your names are printed in a classic block font with your additional wedding information also printed in an easy to read modern san serif font. Your wedding monogram in featured at toward the top of the lighthouse, one of the first things your guests will see when they open your unique wedding invitation.
Other ways we can help make a unique wedding invitation for you is with custom embellishments — wooden charms, acrylic charms, ribbon, raffia, burlap, sinamay, crystals, vellum, enclosures and more! No matter what you decide for your unique wedding invitations, we’d love to help you make them a reality.
