Since Mexico is one of our most popular destinations among our clients, I thought I would share my favorite Mexican Wedding Save the Dates. It is really important to send out save the dates, specially when you are having a destination wedding, because it gives people a great head’s up and allows them plenty of time to start planning! Your save the date can be as simple as just letting them know your date and location and directing them towards your wedding website for more information. Or there is the option to send out a ton of information on your save the date and that allows guests to start actively making decisions on where they should stay and when to book their flight. Either option is great, it just depends on what you prefer!
Some of my favorite Mexico Save the Dates are the postcards. One of our postcard options is a large letter, which allows you to show off pictures of the destination and that is sure to get the guests excited! I also love how this postcard is vintage, but still very chic!
This is another postcard option that I’m really fond of. It has a vintage map on the front along with a few fun travel elements. The map is overlaid on a rustic paper background and enclosed with a crisp border. This postcard ties in the vintage and travel theme so well, but it doesn’t come off too informal. The back of the postcard ties in seamless with the front of the postcard, yet it is different enough that it adds variety and keeps it interesting!
If you like the airmail theme, but want to go the flat card route, then this would be a great option for you! This save the date is printed on brown kraft paper and has a raffia and baker’s twine tie. The airmail border and the custom stamps complete the look!
For those of you who want to provide as much information on the save the date as possible, this is a great option! It allows you to add a lot of information, but it doesn’t take away from the design at all. This design is one of our “boarding pass” invites. It comes with a boarding pass that contains the general information, and then is wrapped in a sleeve that contains the rest of the information and a map that coordinates with the back of the boarding pass. To top it off, this boarding pass has a raffia tie and wooden airplane, which really completes the whole look!
All of these save the dates are awesome, would be a great precursor to invites and would definitely get your guests excited about attending your wedding in Mexico!
