If a night out on the town isn’t your kind of thing, but you still want to have a fabulous Bachelorette Party, we’ve come up with a few alternatives to celebrate in style without hitting the bars.
Spend a day at the spa. What is not to love about this choice? You get a day to be pampered and enjoy beauty treatments. The spa always leaves you feeling rested and refreshed. That is something every bride loves and needs to feel with an upcoming wedding. You can choose to go alone as a treat to yourself or go with your whole bridal party to share the joy. Don’t forget the mani and pedi treatment while you’re there! If you enjoy the spa day close to your wedding date, consider what you’d like for going down the aisle.
Go shopping with the girls. Shopping can melt away stress and can be tons of fun at the same time. A day of shopping together can be a great thing to do instead of a bachelorette party. You can find tons of great deals while spending time with your best friends. It is a great way to connect before all of the official festivities get underway. By making the day of it you can even find a little time to have them help you shop for some lingerie, enjoy a nice lunch and possibly even a movie later that evening. Mix it up and visit a new shopping outlet or plan to go someplace further away that you don’t get to as regular.
Let’s do lunch! Going to lunch with your bridal party is a great idea. You can enjoy a time of visiting together and having fun. You can also talk about what is really important, the wedding. It can be a time to brainstorm and get everything in line or just enjoy the excitement of this time period. It is a great way to spend time together. If you’re tight on budget this is a great alternative to spending an evening bar hopping.
Movie night at home. Have your girlfriends over and spend the evening watching chick flicks and completing DIY wedding items — make your centerpieces, stuff the envelopes for your wedding invitations, etc. Turn it into a sleepover to continue the fun with breakfast the next morning! What a perfect idea if you have girlfriends coming in from out of town to help celebrate!
Girls weekend getaway. It doesn’t get any better than a girls weekend getaway. There are just some things that only your girlfriends are going to enjoy with you. Why not spend a whole weekend doing them? Visit wine country. Shop to your heart’s content. Indulge in beauty treatments galore. Talk and share the things that you know only they can understand.
If you’re not planning a bachelorette party, what are you going to do instead? We’d love to hear about your great ideas!
