Baby Shower Invitations

With another SBD baby coming just around the corner, we all have baby fever! So, we are excited to dedicate every Wednesday of September to talking about baby shower ideas! We’re going to start off by sharing some of our baby shower invitations and we’ll follow up each week with more ideas on how to dive in to all the fun planning!

For those of you who aren’t aware, Serendipity has a digital store in addition to the regular store. The digital store gives our clients access to beautiful designs (from baby shower invites to Halloween party invitations!) and the capability to print the designs themselves. Although we don’t offer wedding invitations in our digital store, we think print at home is a great option for those of you who want great invites, but don’t meet the minimum printing order in the regular store, or on the other hand, you need ALOT and you want to cut costs!

So I will start with a few designs from our digital store. The first one I have chosen is a Neutral Lamb Shower invite that was inspired by a baby quilt. It would easily work for a boy or a girl shower due to the neutral colors. Also, the cute combination of fonts mixes so well with the stitched lamb graphic!

This next invite is a girl safari shower invite. The white on pink polka dot background frames the faded zebra pattern that is sprinkled with cute safari animals. It’s all tied together with a cute variety of fonts that play off the pretty pink and neutral brown as well.

If you love the safari theme, but you’re planning a shower for a boy, then you’re in luck, because we have a boy version as well! Stripes instead of polka dots and simpler graphics make this invite a little different, but just as cute! The variety of blue and green hues make this produce a great deal of balance and variety at the same time.

Moving away from the print at home designs and on to our Baby & Kid’s section on the website. We have several cute designs that aren’t available in our print at home including this Baseball Shower Invite. You have more options as far as color and fonts when you purchase a design fee from our website that is not a print at home design. Therefore, this invite could easily be adjusted to a girl’s softball invite. This invite also comes with the option of custom thank you notes, treat bag tags, water bottle labels, or even banners, etc.

This next invite is modeled after our traditional wedding boarding passes, but has taken on a much more playful vibe. The cartoon animals make it clear that it’s for a baby shower, but the vintage stamps keep the boarding pass looking authentic. The boarding pass is then wrapped in a sleeve that stamps printed on the edge and is wrapped with a raffia boy and wooden airplane.

Our Butterfly Garden baby shower invite is a personal favorite as it was designed for the second SBD baby. It is a box invite that has a custom label wrapped around it, holding the invitation closed. When the guests open the box, they will be greeted by a 3” acrylic butterfly magnet (a one-of-kind piece your guests will cherish). Under the butterfly is the formal folded invitation with a vintage garden theme. Also included, is a white ink printed insert for all your RSVP details. Holding all of these elements together is a piece of ribbon tied in a bow. This Butterfly Garden Baby Shower Invitation will really WOW your guests — and just love it!
